I can’t believe a year has past! Our little Bentley is now ONE!
I took him out to take some pictures and he was NOT a fan. This ^ was the closest thing I got to a smile haha!
Bentley loves stuffed animals. That lion next to him in the picture above goes with him everywhere. He kisses and hugs stuffed animals whenever he sees them. So, that was the inspiration behind his birthday party — a jungle-themed party with plenty of animals!
A “snake pit” with sour gummy worms & “jungle juice” with green Hawaiian punch.
These “tiger tails” were made my dipping pretzel rods in melted orange candy chocolate melts and then drizzling melted black candy melts in the shape of a tail:
And these “zebra bites” are just an adaptation from this recipe.
These jungle cupcakes! These were my favorite creation of the party and I have a full post + video coming SOON for these
“Snake Sandwich:” I created a big sandwich in the shape of a wrap-around snake with the sandwich toppings on platters behind so people could pick what they wanted to top their sandwich with after grabbing a piece of the “snake.”
The “lion dip” is a container of hummus with some black olives as the face, gingersnap cookies for ears, and plenty of peppers for the mane.
And no one-year-old party is complete without some cake smashing!
Happy Birthday little Bent; this first year has been the best with you in our family! <3
